How to Schedule an In-Warranty Factory Service Call

Your product is typically covered for one year starting on the delivery date when installed in a single family residence (see warranty details enclosed with the product for complete details or visit their website). Please follow each manufacturer’s procedure when submitting a warranty service request to ensure no out-of-pocket expenses.


Remember, please register your new appliance right away by visiting the manufactures website to validate the warranty and always keep your Slyman Bros invoice on file.


A typical warranty service call procedure:

  • You (customer) submit a claim through the manufacturer (you must have the model and serial number of the appliance, delivery date, and proof of purchase prior to calling)
  • The manufacturer will troubleshoot the problem first, if problem cannot be resolved, then a service call will be authorized for free of charge.
  • A factory certified service company will reach out to you and schedule the initial service call date
  • The technician arrives and diagnoses the issue and orders the necessary part(s) (if a problem exists)
  • Once the part(s) arrive, the service company will reach out to schedule the repair date
  • The technician will execute the repair on the scheduled date
  • Please test the appliance before the technician leaves, if the issue is not resolved, then the technician will report to the manufacturer for guidance and further repairs may be needed.
  • *If the scheduled repair date needs to be rescheduled or technician did not show up, please reach out to the service company directly.
